Graduate of the School of Physical Education and Sport Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Currently in the process of completing a Master's degree in Business Administration.
She has worked as an hourly-paid lecturer at the Hellenic Police Academy during the academic years 2000–2001, 2001–2002, 2002–2003, and up until February 2004.
In February 2004, she was appointed as a permanent employee (open-ended contract) at the General Secretariat of Sports, where she has served in the Department of Competitive Sports and the Department of Mass Sports.
From November 2016 to April 2021, she worked at the National Council for Combating Doping (E.S.KA.N.), and since April 2021, she has been working at the Hellenic Anti-Doping Organization (E.O.KA.N.).
