Meetings with the Hellenic Federations of Handball and Archery

As part of the meetings with the sports federations of Greece, the Governor of EOKAN Dr Grigoris Leon welcomed the president of the Handball federation Kostas Gantis in his office and they had a very productive discussion. The Handball Federation is very active at the European and international level as it has undertaken to host important international sporting events in the near future.

Both parties agreed to have further cooperation, starting from education and the information of athletes about doping, as the national handball teams of all ages, in men and women, are very active.

Dr Leon also had a meeting with the Hellenic Archery Federation which was represented by the General Secretary Thanassis  Rerras and Sofia Skandali, head of the administration services.

The executive director of EOKAN Georgios Rodinos was also present at the meeting. The representatives of the Archery Federation showed particular interest in the educational programs of the Organisation, especially in those being aimed at young athletes aged between 15 to 18 years old and expressed their willingness to have a close and continuous cooperation with EOKAN.
