Cooperation of EOKAN with the Hellenic Olympians Association, the Association of the Participants in Olympic Games and the athletes' committee of HOC
A very important
collaboration for EOKAN will soon be put into effect!
Since the
beginning of EOKAN's function, its Governor, Dr Grigoris Leon has sent the
message in every direction that the the organisation wants the sports
protagonists to be allies in the common goal for clean sports.
In this context, the meeting with two great athletes of water polo, Voula Kozompoli and Evi Moraitidou , who have honoured the country and have raised the Greek flag to the highest position, is of great importance and has a symbolic meaning as well.
At EOKAN's office Dr Grigoris Leon welcomed Evi Moraitidou as the president of the Hellenic Olympians Association and Voula Kozompoli as the president of the Association of the Participants in the Olympic Games and also president of the athletes' committee of HOC.
EOKAN's Governor
referred to the actions of the organisation and also to the immediate plans for
the near future, while he was informed about the important work of the Hellenic
Olympians, the Participants in the Olympic Games and the athletes' committee of
HOC.
The most important point of the meeting was the agreement of all the bodies for collaboration in the educational programs of EOKAN which are going to take place in 2022.
Thanks to this cooperation, the Hellenic Olympians and other great athletes of the Greek sports, who have honoured the country in top level events and in the Olympic Games, will participate in the information campaign and the actions of EOKAN for the sensitization of the young athletes of all sports, boys and girls, who have started competing at a higher level.
Through their speeches they will help the future champions to understand the harmful effects of doping on health and they will show them the way to "play true" in order to reach the top.
With their knowledge and experience they will offer valuable support to the
fight against doping, acting as role models for the young athletes and
persuading them to stay away from anabolics and prohibited substances.
