Educational seminar for the winter Olympic athletes
On Wednesday 30 November EOKAN/ HADA held an online educational seminar for the athletes who will compete in the winter Olympic and Paralympic games of Beijing in 2022.
The seminar was organised by HADA in collaboration with the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the Hellenic Paralympic Committee.
The main topics of the seminar, which were adjusted to cover the needs of the athletes who will participate in this major event , were: sports values and the social consequences of doping, the consequences on the athletes' health, athletes' rights and responsibilities according to WADA's Code, sampling process during COVID-19, latest information about ADAMS and about providing accurate whereabouts, TUEs and the application process, the role of whistleblowers in Anti-Doping.
